“On the banks of the Little Blue River rests the Little Blue Studio, located on Little Blue Road in the town of Little Blue, Missouri, nestled in The Little Blue Valley, Rick Lynn creates Nautical Art”
Rick Lynn is an artist based in Little Blue, MO with over 50 years of experience in many different mediums. A sailor by trade, he worked through the ranks to achieve the title of Master (Captain). Rick has sailed through blue water, inland, intercoastal, and won’t ever pass up a mud puddle. His sailing and nautical experience greatly influences his work as shown through his intense study of knots and proficiency in the lost art of tying knot frames. Rick is no stranger to working in different mediums but has been known to paint on anything that won’t move.
In addition to his many years of naval service and exploring the waterways of the United States, Rick has been fortunate enough to traverse into many different avenues.
